Poor Api! I needed this so much Opulence. I've been moving through a lot of grief. When Motaz said that, it was the hardest truth to bear. Sending you all the love. I've heard of Opal and I'm considering trying it too! Thanks.
Aw my sweet friend, I have been thinking of you and seeing all your posts!! There is a very specific form of grief that emerges in these situations, because we can really see the war empire for what it is, and we can feel lost with in it. Witnessing Motaz and other palestine's anger is difficult, but I also get it. These are truly awful times.
I feel you on the phone addiction. A lot of my life feels like I live/have lived it in my head and/or online especially my phone, and I am working to change that for my own values and desires. Somatic therapy and animism have helped me a lot. I've used your insight to seek connection from guilt for interacting with Palestinian journalists' posts. And my therapist gave me some beautiful homework to get away from the emptyish "I'm sorry" to really wordsmith what I actually want to convey about my grief and anger, my commitment, and my love. For the boundaries I'd also love interactive exercises and people pleaser insight (I picked discussions qs for homies but would love all 3!).
I also was staring at your banner (which is great), and it brought to mind an artist friend of a friend whose work I have prints of and love. Thought you might too :) https://www.meeradugal.com/
