Hello Beloved Friends

my desire to forage wisteria led me to this grand tree living behind my local publix. You can spot the moon to the left of her crown.

I’m excited to share my thoughts about life after crashing out, especially during these times of high stress.

Before I get into the mix, I want to share some exciting life updates with you all!

I’m going to perform in Los Angeles

Join me and and my podcast co-host Nisha at a private performance space in Mid-City at 7pm on June 2nd

If you want to bask in my abundant glow this Taurus season, but aren’t in Los Angeles, no fear!! I’m teach an online class with one of my favorite homies, Evolve

I love having a newsletter. I’ve been sending out a newsletter for almost 5 years now. In truth, I thought about starting my newsletter for at least 6 months before finally sending one out in August of 2021

My hope for this workshop is that anyone who has been dreaming of creating their own newsletter —- a space to share your truth with people who care, can come, learn a little something, and walk away with your substack set up and first post published.

Since the goal is for whoever attends to implement something in the session, spots are limited!

You can buy tickets here, and below the paywall subscribers get a special coupon code : )

If you have questions, we will be answering them tomorrow on youtube

IT’S MY BIRTHDAY SEASON

As always I’m accepting birthday blessings, especially if I breathed some healing life into you this year.

I survive and thrive with your support! Big thank you to all the loved ones who have, and continue to lift me up with resources, love, and keeping my name in your mouth. I appreciate you, I love you, and I thrive in the bounty of your love.

For my birthday I am calling in 340 new subscribers

I don’t know if it’s the post-saturn glow or what, but I am so thrilled that I have made it to 34 and I feel that I have important things to say. I currently have 350 subscribers, so if half my followership shared my work with 2 people, I could easily reach my goal! Please consider sharing my newsletter with your network or a loved one!

HAPPY TAURUS SEASON TO MY FELLOW BULLS

me, a force, even as a baby

I hope you are celebrating this year! Alongside the genocide, the war, the fascist uprising, the raids on queer bars, the dismantling of functional healthcare, we must celebrate life!!!

This regime is pro-death, they feed on our misery and suffering. It is our love of each other that truly binds us together into an unstoppable force.

For all of us, I hope we are hugging each other, going on walks in the sun and holding hands, smelling flowers, coming together over good food, finding things to celebrate even as the tower crumbles around us

from the cosmic sunbeam deck

LET’S TALK ABOUT CRASHING OUT!!!!

I’m writing this as we build towards a full moon in scorpio, that will reach fullness next monday, on my 34th birthday!

My mom’s homemade yogurt always reminds me of the full moon

In my opinion, new moons and full moons are ancient cosmic and collective invitations to crash out.

Have you crashed out recently?

I feel like I’ve been stuck in a crash out cycle since Janurary. It’s like I process a piece of information and become so activated that I’m swept up in unhinged coping mechanisms (like planning decadent lamb fundraisers) , and then when I finally land back in my body again the cycle just repeats

lowkey crashing out can feel kinda fun sometimes!

I believe in post crash out clarity

Recently I had a crash out that happened as I was mopping my apartment. I collapsed on my couch in my cleaning clothes, sobbing and clutching my mop in the middle of my apartment. It was sooooo dramatic.

After I went over to a friend’s house, and recounted the tale and they just smiled and asked me if I felt better. And I did..

Crashing out, ultimately a phenomenon that is the result of overwhelm and expression, can be healthy. It is one way tearing off the band aid of avoidance and facing the open wound of our emotions head on.

Crashing out can also be destructive, life destroying, and drain us of energy that could support us truly addressing our issues.

Sometimes we get so lost in the crash out, but what happens after?

I want to answer this question in a real and deep way so I’m going to put it below the paywall! Hope to see u under the cut!
